How a removal runs
Limb, drop, grind, chip, rake.
Five stations, in the order K&K works a removal. Nothing heavy swings toward the house, the stump goes below grade, and the yard is raked before the truck leaves.
Drop
The trunk comes down in sections
A tall tree near a building is not felled in one piece. It is brought down in lengths into the open part of the yard, which is how a giant old dying tree ends up down and out of harm's way without touching what you want kept.
Grind
The stump is ground out and the hole filled

The brush goes through the chipper
Branches and limbs are fed through the chipper and turned into wood chips instead of a brush pile at the curb. The chip truck is the white one on the sign.
